Alexandra Céspedes Kent partners with mission driven organizations and leaders to enhance their brand, marketing, and communications. She joined the Voler team in Spring 2024.
When serving as the Development and Communications Director at the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center, she doubled the operating budget to $5M and spearheaded a $2.5M capital campaign to build an affordable preschool. Amid the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, she led social media campaigns that raised $400,000 in direct aid for 800 immigrant families.
Alexandra previously led The Purpose Prize, a $17 million initiative investing in older social innovators with the goal of changing the national conversation about aging. There, she orchestrated a successful social media campaign, attracting a major movie studio as a partner in developing a second iteration: the “Marigold Ideas for Good” contest.
Earlier in her career, Alexandra designed leadership programs at Coro Northern California. She holds a BA in English Literature from Amherst College and lives in Alameda, California.
Alexandra is a board member at the Catalino Tapia Scholarship Foundation and a former board member at CompassPoint.
